Fuzzy Zoeller presents the Putting Pod

WHAT IS IT ?
The Putting Pod are small devices which when hit emitt the sound of a ball rattling in the bottom of the golf hole. The idea is you use the device when practicing your putting on the greens or at home or in the office. You simply place the device on the floor and put to it. If you are on target you will hear the familiar sound of the ball going into the hole!.

HOW THEY WERE CREATED
One week Fuzzy's caddy wasn't able to make it toThe Las Vegas Invitational, so at the last moment, Fuzzy called the president of his production company, Dave Lobeck, to fill in. That week, Fuzzy's ball striking was good as always, but his putting was giving him fits.

One night over a beer, Dave mentioned to Fuzzy that he had an idea that might help his putting. Dave told Fuzzy that when he played college golf, he never practiced putting to a regulation hole. Instead, he putted to a golf tee inserted into the green. With consistent practice to the tee, the regulation hole looked much larger to him, which created a more confident stroke.

Fuzzy agreed that putting consistently to smaller target was a great practice routine. But after a short period of time he would lose interest and focus because it didn't give him the feedback he needed -- THE SOUND OF THE BALL RATTLING IN THE BOTTOM OF THE CUP. That started Dave on his quest to see if creating such a unit would be feasible. He wanted to build a small target that could be inserted into the green and when bumped by a golf ball, would immediately give the player the sweet sound of success that all golfers crave, the sound of the ball rattling in the bottom of the cup.

Well to cut a long story short a version was created, which Fuzzy now uses while practicing his putting on The Senior PGA TOUR. The indoor version (The Putting Pod ™) was also created for indoor putting in the home or office. This unit gives the same feedback as well as the benefits of putting to a smaller target. Both items are in the midst of the patent application process.
