Lighter (at 2.6 kg) than the Ogio Monster (at 6.2 kg) so I'm well happy with that as the Airlines will only allow 20 kg max for clubs.
The Monster is just that (cavernous inside), the only thing I could fault it on is the weight, nothing else. The Straight Jacket on the other hand is still large enough for a fully loaded cart/trolley bag, possibly a tour bag and appears well made from robust materials.
My only concern is the plastic runners along the bottom which do not appear that robust and don't have enough rivets to secure them - leaving gaps between them and the base of the bag meaning they will get caught and probably ripped off or broken. Having had this happen to me a few years ago with a suitcase and seeing how baggage handlers deal with cases etc, this is a real possibility.
My only other comment is that I would like to see two, perhaps three internal cinch straps (instead of just the one) to secure the contents to prevent movement. If I am unfortunate to sustain any damage due to movement then I may consider addressing my concerns direct with Ogio.
What I have said shouldn't be seen as negative - perhaps I am just being a bit too fussy, but we'll see and following my trip abroad I'll give another review to see just how the bag held up to the abuse of Airport staff.
